My paintings function as small theatrical stages in which subjects are utilized to bring forward hidden information. Each scene is a room, which represents the connection to the home; links to family, nature and religion. Many languages make the connection between "home" and "soul". I believe that home is the container of the soul, both a reflective and profound exchange between the psychic and the external centre of our lives.
